Dr. Thein, graduating with honors, attended UCLA and received his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1980. He then went on to Boston University School of Dentistry to receive his dental degree in 1985. He has taken numerous continuing education courses to improve his patient care. Dr. Thein received his Orthodontic training from U.S.D.I. Orthodontic Institute in 1996 and received his dental implant surgical and prosthetic training from the prestigious Misch Implant Institute at University of Pittsburgh in 1999. He is also a graduate of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education and Esthetic Professional Educational Institute.

Dr. Thein is board certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, the board certification symbolizes the highest level of competence in Implant Dentistry. He is also a Diplomate of International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Thein is committed to providing excellent dental care to his patients. He has an Implant practice that focuses on technical quality, gentle care and understanding.
